Who writes The Lion's Teeth anyway?
I am a native of the Orlando area and a graduate of UCF. In addition to being a long-time season ticket holder for the UCF Knights college football program, I have been a season ticket holder for the Orlando City Lions since 2014.
The Lion's Teeth blog and web site is a way of reflecting my growing love of Orlando's newest professional sports club and my evolution as a fan of "The Beautiful Game in the City Beautiful." I first started gaining an interest in "the world's football" when the USA hosted the World Cup in 1994 and for a few years, those tournaments are all I watched.
This site is primarily a site created by a fan to reflect the experience of fans. There are far better experts you can follow for news, analysis, statistics, transfers, or keen insights about the league, the club, the players, and the matches. It's my hope that this site can be a fun place for fans of OCSC to see pictures from the stadium and read and share game day experiences as our lads climb their way to the top of the table in MLS. About Orlando City SC
The Orlando City Lions (The Lions, OCSC) are a professional soccer club that began play in Orlando, Florida in 2011. On November 19, 2013 they were announced as the 21st franchise for the MLS, the top league for professional soccer in the United States, and will kick off their MLS participation in 2015. Prior to the 2015 season, OCSC played in the USL Pro league, winning the regular season championship (accumulating the most points during league matches) all four seasons. In 2011 and 2013, the Lions also advanced all the way through the playoffs and won the USL Pro Championship.
In 2016, the Orlando City SC organization added two more teams, the Orlando Pride and OCB.
