2015 in Review Day 18: Harrison Heath

And now back to our regularly scheduled season in review...

Harrison Heath is another of the players that was a holdover from the USL side that came to MLS. As the son of coach Adrian Heath, it could have seemed like nepotism to some to keep Harrison on the squad over some of the other players, but coach made no bones about the fact that he had hoped to be able to get Harrison and some of the other lads some minutes with our USL affiliate Louisville City during 2015. Unfortunately the injury situation meant that Coach had to keep Harrison and many of the other younger players at home in the 19 - 30 slots for most of the season, as they had to be activated for MLS match play more often than he would have liked.

2015 Summary: Harrison didn't get much of a chance to play during 2015, and when he did the lack of consistent minutes was apparent, as he appeared a bit rusty on the pitch. His season was cut short by a season-ending injury in his third appearance for the team.

2016 Prediction: My prediction is that Harrison Heath will be a regular on the OCB squad in 2016, and that he will play a prominent role on that team. There may be times that injury or international call-ups will require him to come over and fill in on the MLS side, but I would expect him to be much sharper for getting regular playing minutes under his belt each week.

What about you? What do you expect to see from Harrison Heath in 2016? Do you think he will feature as a regular in the OCB lineup or do you expect him to be back on the first team next season? Let me know in the comments!
